GRABSTAITE Vesta – actor, choreographer, director, teacher

Born on the 17th of March 1966 in Kaunas
Currently lives in Vilnius

Education:
From 1986 to 1990 she studied at Moscow studio of plastic improvisation under Oleg Kiseliov
In 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1996 studied the method of acting according Tadashi Suzuki at the Japan Performing Art Center
In 1995-1996 she studied the traditional Okinawa dances (under H. Takamine), Japanese language, music, and karate at Institute for Research of Traditional Okinawa Dances (Japan).
In 2003 graduated the stage directing (under Jonas Vaitkus) at the Faculty of Theatre and Cinema, at Lithuanian Music Academy.

Foreign languages: Russian, English, Japanese, and French.

In 2003 she taught in educational project Nordic MA which was organized by Finnish Art Academy and Meno Fortas.
